Cash is a low-energy, cuddly guy. He is super sweet but likes to try and take control of the home. Because of that, he will need an experienced person who will be sure to maintain his/her dominance over Cash. I have had Cash for 9 months and have learned his behaviors and personality and for that reason, Cash has been the sweetest, gentlest boy. I believe there is a perfect person out there for him that will listen to my suggestions and actually enforce them.
Cash is extremely dog-reactive outside of my home so he will need to be the only pet. No cats. He was raised with children but I believe a no child home
Would be best at this point.
Cash is by no means “aggressive” but when he thinks he runs the house, he is extremely stubborn and refuses to do anything he doesn’t want to do.
Cricket is a 2-year old 70-pound spayed female Pit Bull who is still in boarding waiting for her perfect foster or forever home to come along.
This is what we know about Cricket:
Cricket would do best as an only pet
Cricket is very strong and pulls hard on a leash
Cricket has been through professional training and is very eager to please.
Kool is a 2 to 3 year old male Pit Bull mix who we can't even believe is still with us. Kool is an amazing dog who has amazing obedience and can do almost any trick you ask of him.
Kool will need to be the only pet in the home.
Luca is a 10 month old male Pit Bull
Luca will require and EXPERIENCED PATIENT adopter. Luca came to us when he was 6 months old with severe stranger danger issues. Luca will be your best friend once he gets to know you, but it takes time and patience to become his friend.
Luca is currently working with a professional trainer to improve his stranger danger issues.
Luca is great with other dogs, has wonderful basic obedience skills and is working on becoming a better walking buddy, as Luca currently pulls hard a the leash.
Michael is a 1 year old male Pit Bull who is new to the rescue.
Michael is heartworm positive and will undergo treatment this month and will be ready for adoption following treatment.
Michael is a high energy boy who we are still learning more about. We know that he greets other dogs playfully, but has a ton of energy that some dogs may find to be offensive.
Monica is a 5 year old female Pit Bull who came to us several years ago with her litter of puppies. Monica's story started when she was found in the freezing cold living outside a Popeye's restaurant in Georgia. Monica had 4 puppies with her and several had frozen to death.
Monica will need to be the only dog in the home, she has lived with cats and smaller kids, but we feel she would be most content in a home with no other pets and older kids.
Monica is very mellow and sweet, she loves to snuggle and be silly. Monica has been professionally trained and has wonderful basic obedience
Pessy is a 5 year old female Pit Mix who has been with the rescue for over 2 years. Pessy is crate trained and potty trained.
Pessy will require a home with little commotion, as she seems to become nervous in a busy environment.
Pessy is good with other dogs, but does play rough. Pessy tested well with cats. We feel that Pessy would do best in a home with children older than 15 or kids that aren't overly rambunctious and busy
Shea is a 3 year old male Pit Bull who was surrendered to us after being dropped off at the vet as a euthanasia request.
Prior to coming to the rescue, Shea was not neutered and was living in a small apartment with another non-neutered male. After 6 months of living together without issue, a fight broke out and Shea was blamed.
We decided to give Shea a chance and he seems like a very sweet boy who wants to play with the other dogs in the home.
Shea is 55 pounds of muscle and does need some basic obedience.
Shea has not been kid or cat tested yet.
Updates on Shea will be posted as we learn more about him.
Trevor is a 7 year old male Pit Bull. Trevor has been with the rescue for over two years and he has been overlooked by so many adopters.
Trevor is a couch potato, loves treats and loves going for short walks.
Trevor must be the only pet in the home and must live in a home with older children.
